Mid Summer Soiree

Now that we are well into summer, let’s plan that party you’ve been wanting to host! I don’t know about you but I love hosting and having people over. Summer is hands down our favorite time of year and there is truly nothing I love more during the summertime than having my close family and friends over for a crisp glass of rose or white wine, prepped with a big summer salad, fresh citrus, and grilled vegetables - the colorful the better!

We understand that the idea of hosting can be entirely overwhelming. To help guide us, we always pick a theme or some sort of reference to help drive the concept, typically something found in nature or perhaps a main dish. For example, we will pick a big Watermelon Summer Salad such as this one from Love & Lemons, and then pull out the colors from this dish for our tableware, accessories, linens, and more! This helps us to stay in line and not stray from our initial concept. A similar idea we always use while designing our client’s home to help create and maintain cohesiveness!
